Tom Brady, who has been the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots since 2001 and is one of the most successful NFL players ever, continues to be a valuable resource on football. Recently, Joe Burrow asked him what he should do if his Cincinnati Bengals beat Tom’s beloved Rams in their week 3 match up.
Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, offered advice to Joe Burrow on what he should do if the Bengals beat the Rams. The Bengals are facing off against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2 of this NFL season. Read more in detail here: tom brady joe burrow podcast.
Tom Brady has retired from football. Brady announced his retirement earlier this week after winning seven Super Bowls in 22 NFL seasons. He provided some kind advise to the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, who is making his first appearance in the Super Bowl in just his second year in the NFL, as he prepares to witness his first Super Bowl as a retiree.
When Tom Brady was a rookie in the NFL, Joe Burrow was three years old.

When Brady announced his retirement, the NFL lost what many consider to be the best quarterback ever. When it comes to young quarterbacks, the NFL, on the other hand, is still in solid hands.
Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Justin Herbert are just a few of the emerging stars in the AFC. When Brady first stepped onto an NFL field, all of these players were in kindergarten. Burrow was three years old at the time.
Burrow is on his way to usurping Brady’s kingdom. He led the Bengals to an unlikely Super Bowl trip in just his second season, one year after they won four games. He’s recovered from a horrific ACL injury sustained in Week 11 of last season against the Washington Football Team. As a starter, Burrow was 2-7-1.
He still has a long way to go to catch Brady, but he’s making progress. Burrow has Brady’s calm attitude, but he has a touch more athleticism than the three-time MVP.
Joe Burrow received some nice advise from Tom Brady on what to do if the Bengals win.
Both Brady and Burrow are victorious. Brady’s seven Super Bowl titles are well-known, but Burrow has also shown to be a winner. Burrow led LSU to a national championship in his second season after transferring from Ohio State. The Bengals selected him first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft three months later.
In same championship year, Burrow also won the Heisman Trophy after putting up Fantasy Football-like stats. He threw 60 touchdown passes, 5,671 yards passing, and 76.3 percent of his throws were completed. Only six times was he intercepted.
Burrow will go down in history if he and the Bengals defeat the Rams and win the Super Bowl. He’ll be the first player to win an NCAA championship, the Heisman Trophy, and the Super Bowl. As a result, on the Let’s Go podcast with Jim Gray, Brady gave Joe Cool some advise.
“Tom mentioned something that made me laugh before we went on the air, and he probably didn’t want to say it because of the sensitivity surrounding it, but I can, and I’ll repeat it for him,” Gray said Burrow. “He said he thinks you’ll be the first person to win the Heisman Trophy, a college football title, and a Super Bowl,” she continued. If that occurs, he says, “you should retire on top.”
Burrow and Brady both laughed before Brady chimed in and added, “Definitely don’t do that.” You have a bright future ahead of you.”

Burrow has been through a lot in his brief NFL career. He not only recovered from a season in which he only won two games as a quarterback, but he also recovered from his injuries. He claimed his self-assurance hasn’t waned, but he’s had to fight his way back to ensure he can still utilize his legs in the same manner he could before.
Burrow told Gray, “I don’t believe my confidence in myself has really altered.” “Throughout the year, my trust in my body and my ability to physically perform the things I required to win games has evolved. I was around eight months out from my operation at the start of the year. With my legs, I wasn’t making as many plays as I had in the past.
“So, early in the year, I had to reconsider the way I was playing, attempting to play more in the pocket inside the offense’s framework.” Then, after a bye week in the middle of the season, I acquired a bit more trust in my knee and began to make some of those pocket plays. Making people miss in the same manner I used to before my disability.”
Burrow, according to Brady, has several skills that Brady lacked early in his career.
“I believe (Joe) has certain skills that I lacked when I was his age,” Brady remarked. “I’m very pleased with how he’s stepped into the league….” He showed a lot of mental and physical resilience coming back and having an outstanding season two years into his career after a pretty painful injury last year.”
