Who will you be backing in this Sunday’s AFC Wild Card matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs? The answer might surprise you. Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow was asked to choose between Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Henry ahead of the game, which led him to drop a truth bomb on reporters.
The “when was patrick mahomes born” is a question that has been posed to Tim Tebow. When asked to choose between Patrick Mahomes and Derrick Henry, he dropped a massive truth bomb.
Remember when Tim Tebow was battling for a roster spot with the Jacksonville Jaguars, coached by Urban Meyer? It wasn’t that long ago, despite the fact that it seems like it.
Now, along with Stephen A. Smith, the former Heisman Trophy winner appears on ESPN First Take. He’s already made some shocking admissions in his short time on the program.
His newest truth bomb, on the other hand, might be a hot issue for the rest of the NFL season. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry are two athletes that are often mentioned as the finest in the NFL.
Tebow was recently asked which player he would want to have this season. While it was a difficult choice, his response may surprise a lot of people.
Tim Tebow is fully invested in the King Henry mania.
For whatever reason, Mahomes has struggled through the first six weeks of the NFL season. Henry, on the other hand, has gone off the rails and is the main reason the Titans are 4-2 and even in football games.
On Fridays, Tebow is a regular on ESPN First Take, and with the Chiefs and Titans meeting this weekend, the now-TV celebrity chose Henry as his selection. Yes, Henry has the upper hand against Mahomes.
Is it a simple decision? This season, no way.
Mahomes, on the other hand, is the Chiefs’ heart and soul, having led the team to back-to-back Super Bowl victories. However, Henry can only do so much each week, and the Titans will ultimately have to rely on their passing offense and defense — or lack thereof.
Of course, Stephen A. didn’t agree with Tebow, but that’s part of the show’s charm.

Now let’s go a little further. There is no such thing as a right response. While Stephen A. expressed his displeasure with Tebow’s reaction, this isn’t an infrequent occurrence.
Henry has had an out-of-this-world video-game year. In six games, the former Alabama standout has rushed for 783 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s also become better as a pass receiver, with 16 catches for 138 yards.
The Titans’ rushing back has over 1000 yards and more touchdowns than the entire Tennessee offense combined this season. So, those are insane figures, and his domination was on show once again against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
Surprisingly, Mahomes has underperformed in 2021. As Kansas City stands at 3-3 going into Sunday’s game against the Titans, he has passed for 1887 yards, 18 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Mahomes is third in the NFL in passing yards and first in passing touchdowns.
He may be towards the top of the MVP ladder if it weren’t for the eight interceptions and.500 record. In contrast, he threw 11 interceptions in the previous two seasons. For some reason, the fact that he has eight has many questioning his ability once again.

Despite this, the Chiefs are second in the NFL in terms of yards per game and third in terms of throwing yards. In addition, Kansas City is ranked 10th in running yards and 5th in points per game.
While Henry’s domination puts him on track for another 2000-yard season, there’s no disputing that Mahomes remains a superstar. Oh, and it’s been just six weeks. That is important to remember.
However, we can’t overlook Henry’s incredible start, and Tebow has every right to stick with the Titans’ star.
The Chiefs-Titans game is shaping up to be a tremendous shootout.

The Chiefs versus. Titans matchup might be the game of the weekend. Tennessee’s defense has been shaky at best, and they were defeated by the New York Jets. The Chiefs’ defense, on the other hand, has been vulnerable. Not to mention the fact that the last time these two clubs played was in the AFC Championship.
This game is anticipated to be high-scoring, with both Henry and Mahomes projected to put up big numbers once again.
Henry has been more vital to his squad this season, but all of these guys are enjoying fantastic seasons. The Titans’ back is once again the finest running back in the NFL, and he’s on course to win another rushing crown.
Mahomes is only a few plays away from putting the Chiefs over the.500 mark. The Kansas City quarterback has won back-to-back Super Bowls and shows no signs of slowing down.
So, although Tim Tebow’s selection of Henry is unlikely, it’s not impossible given Henry’s abysmal stats through mid-October.
Please sit back and watch two of the finest at their positions duke it out in a must-see game before making your pick.
Pro Football Reference provided the statistics.
With video game numbers, Derrick Henry is running over defenses and sprinting to the top of the NFL MVP conversation.
