The NFL is a tough place for a young quarterback to learn his trade, but the Saints have been the exception to the rule over the past few years. After winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history last year, the team is back in the playoffs again this year, and they have one of the most talented rosters in the league.

Three years ago, the Minnesota Vikings drafted quarterback Teddy Bridgewater with the 32nd pick in the NFL draft. Despite having a rock solid college career at Louisville, Bridgewater’s career in Minnesota was fairly quiet, until now. During the Vikings’ bye week last weekend, the Vikings have been ranked at the bottom of the NFL. During this bye week, Bridgewater sent a letter to Vikings fans, thanking them for being so supportive during his time in Minnesota.

Teddy Bridgewater didn’t make it to his first Pro Bowl this year, but there’s one way he did get to be in Hawaii. He was given a place on the all-star team by his New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton, who was the head coach of the team that drafted him in 2014. The new quarterback was given a place on the side of the field they were at practice on.
