LeBron James has been on the market for the last few weeks, and the Miami Heat superstar seems to have his sights set on the Dallas Mavericks. If he does, James would be taking his talents to a new franchise (and city) for the first time in his career. The move also would reunite him with one of his former teammates, Dwyane Wade. The two had a terrific run together in Miami, winning two championships and many fans over with their on-court chemistry. It looks like the two are heading back together, and if so, it just might be the first of many moves between the banana boat duo.

Last week, Lebron James announced his intentions to opt out of the NBA in favor of a second career in the entertainment industry. In an in-depth interview with HBO, LeBron revealed to Emmy Award winning journalist Bill Simmons that he has a multi-million dollar deal with the famous skincare brand Banana Boat and a lengthy acting career in his future.

LeBron James is the most recognizable athlete in the world, and he’s never been shy about his love for his favorite product. In fact, he’s just so in love that there is a very real chance that he will team up with a partner. He’s definitely going to look for someone to fit the bill.

The Los Angeles Lakers are attempting to surround LeBron James with the components he believes he needs in order to win another NBA title. Carmelo Anthony may be a key piece of the championship jigsaw in the near future.

A large number of NBA veterans seem to be interested in accepting a salary reduction to join James and the Lakers. Although the Los Angeles Lakers would like to acquire DeMar DeRozan, Anthony’s signing would satisfy James and offer some unity in the locker room.

LeBron James has a tendency to have a say in personnel choices.

It’s nothing unusual for LeBron James to desire to play with his buddies.

James’ ambition to win a championship drove him to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and join the Miami Heat in the summer of 2010. It did, however, provide him with the opportunity to play with Dwyane Wade.

Wade reunited with LeBron James in Cleveland for his second tenure with the Cavaliers. However, James recognized that the Cavs would need to make significant adjustments in order to make a deep playoff run in 2018. Unfortunately, the Cavs had to trade Wade and others in order to reorganize their roster and become more competitive.

In Los Angeles, LeBron James has had a unique impact. The Lakers acquired The Brow before of the 2019-20 season due to his relationship with Anthony Davis. The Purple and Gold were able to win a title as a result of their bold action.

Both James and Davis pushed for the club to trade for Russell Westbrook after the team’s season ended in disappointment. It didn’t take long for that decision to be made.

Now, James is looking to form a partnership with a friend from his 2003 NBA Draft class.

Carmelo Anthony is allegedly being pursued by the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to a league source, the #Lakers are “very interested” in signing Carmelo Anthony. Melo’s relationship with LeBron James dates back to high school, thus the Lakers have been mentioned as a possible destination. Last season with Portland, Anthony shot 40.9 percent from three-point range, which was a career high.

Carmelo Anthony is one of the NBA’s all-time leading scorers. Could he bring his scoring prowess to Los Angeles?

According to ESPN’s Jordan Schultz, the Lakers are interested in acquiring Anthony once free agency begins on Monday. Last season, Anthony shot a career-high 40.9 percent from outside the arc, and the Lakers are in desperate need of perimeter shooting, according to Schultz.

Not long ago, Anthony was having difficulty finding work. During his two-season tenure with the Portland Trail Blazers, he demonstrated that he is still a very competent NBA player.

The 37-year-old understands where he wants to go. He can score in the post and yet finds ways to get off his dribble pull-up jumpers by generating space. The ability to shoot threes is a huge plus, particularly if the Lakers can acquire more shooters to compliment James and Davis’ domination in the paint.

Following the Westbrook deal, James and the Lakers need additional depth, and Anthony may provide that. He may, however, have a sizable market.

One of Anthony’s previous bosses is showing an interest in him.

In their pursuit of Anthony, the Lakers will face stiff competition.

Melo is also being pursued by the New York Knicks, according to Schultz. Leon Rose, the president of basketball operations, used to be Anthony’s agent.

During his seven years in New York, Anthony established himself as a key member of the Knicks franchise. He was named to seven All-Star teams and earned a scoring championship. Perhaps he has a strong desire to return to New York and play for a Knicks club that looks to be on the rise.

Money may be a factor, as well as motivation. Anthony’s ambition to win his first NBA title may influence his decision to join James and the Lakers. The Knicks, on the other hand, have more cap room and may be able to lure Anthony with a more lucrative offer.
