At the time, I thought it unlikely that Joe would be the savior for the Bengals in 2018. There were better players available via trade (like the Colts’ Phillip Dorsett), but there was no way they would trade a player like Joe. So, I had no idea that the Bengals were going to trade to the 49ers for Kyle Juszczyk. I know now that the Bengals had no intention of keeping Joe, but they never had to give him up.

Don’t worry, this isn’t some form of cannibalism.

The Cincinnati Bengals desperately needed a win this past Sunday, and who better to deliver one than rookie quarterback Joe Burrow?. Read more about joe burrow and let us know what you think.

Joe Burrow is obviously wanted by the Cincinnati Bengals to help them capture their first Super Bowl championship. Expecting him to be the next Aaron Rodgers, though, may be a stretch.

Mike Daniels is a writer who lives in New York City, a Bengals defensive lineman who has played with both quarterbacks, welcomes you to his world. When he spends time with Burrow, he is reminded of a three-time NFL MVP, not just because he sees him as the Bengals’ savior, but also because he is reminded of a three-time NFL MVP.

Mike Daniels, a Bengals lineman, likened Joe Burrow to Aaron Rodgers.

Daniels, the veteran defensive tackle, may be Burrow’s biggest admirer at Paul Brown Stadium this season.

Daniels referred to Burrow as “Baby Aaron” during a recent interview on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. Rodgers, who played with Daniels on the Green Bay Packers from 2012 to 2018, is the Aaron in question.

Daniels, who is in his second season with the Bengals, complimented Burrow’s leadership qualities, comparing them to what he witnessed from Rodgers on a daily basis in Green Bay.

“You don’t see many rookies in locker rooms, and if you didn’t know who he was, you’d assume he was a four-year vet. And to have it at quarterback means he has the kind of knowledge and composure that only Aaron Rodgers possesses. And I’ve been saying it since I arrived: I see a lot of parallels between the two, and I’m just thrilled to be a part of it, man.”

Daniels also reassured Bengals supporters that their faith in Burrow is justified.

“And if you speak to the ‘Who Dey’ folks, they’ll tell you That Joe Burrow is the messiah, man,” Daniels said. “He is very important to our organization.”

Let’s put any parallels between Burrow and Rodgers on hold for the time being.

After his recent remarks, if Daniels, who turned 32 in May, is approaching the conclusion of his NFL career, he might consider applying to join First Take.

Rodgers is one of the all-time best quarterbacks in the NFL. He’s a three-time NFL MVP who has consistently done more with less, particularly in recent years, and has frequently kept the Packers’ playoff chances alive on his own. L

Burrow is already a player whom fans despise yet like. He’s personable off the field and has already shown as a rookie that he has the potential to be a star at the top level of the sport. Burrow completed 65.3 percent of his throws for 2,688 yards, 13 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 10 games before sustaining a season-ending knee injury in November.

Is Burrow’s future in Cincinnati bright? Sure. No one is denying that he has the potential to be a successful actor in his own right? Daniels, on the other hand, joined the Packers in 2012, Rodgers’ sixth season as a starter in the NFL. The experienced quarterback had previously won a Super Bowl and had recently received his first MVP Award at the time.

Comparing Burrow at this point in his career to Rodgers in 2012 raises some concerns. One thing in Daniels’ favor is that he spent so much time with Rodgers during the same season, so he has some credibility.

With that stated, there’s nothing wrong with refraining from making superlative comparisons. Burrow is his own player, and that’s OK with him. This is something we’d rather hear from Daniels than Stephen A. Smith.

Regardless, the Bengals should hope that Burrow follows Rodgers’ route to greatness.

If the Bengals want Burrow to be as successful as Rodgers, they’re prepared to go all out to make it happen.

Burrow’s former teammate, LSU receiver Ja’Marr Chase, was chosen fifth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Bengals. The Bengals selected three offensive linemen this spring and hired veteran Pro Bowler Riley Reiff to play right tackle in the hopes of preventing another knee injury for Burrow.

In a tough AFC North Division, it’s still too early to predict the Bengals will reach the playoffs. Instead, the Bengals should focus on keeping him upright and allowing him to continue to grow as a quarterback this fall.

The NFL has a reputation for being odd. Burrow, who has more time to pass and can use many excellent weapons, notably second-year wideout Tee Higgins, may help the Bengals overachieve and reach seven or eight wins if he stays healthy.

What are the chances? Rodgers made a huge jump forward in his second season as a starter, leading the Packers to the NFC Wild-Card Round in 2009. If Burrow follows in Burrow’s footsteps this season, Daniels may have been onto something all along.
