In a conversation with Peter King of NBC Sports, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones discussed Dak Prescott’s intense and reckless style as the starting quarterback. He said that he worries about it but is more concerned about what happens to those on defense because they have to cover for him.

Jerry Jones, the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, was brutally honest about Dak Prescott’s intense and reckless play style in a recent interview. “I worry about it,” he said. Read more in detail here: dak prescott news today.

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a thrilling Week 10 comeback victory. Following an ugly loss to the Denver Broncos the week before, Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys dominated the Atlanta Falcons 43-3. While it’s likely that owner Jerry Jones was overjoyed to see his team comeback in such a positive fashion, it didn’t stop him from slamming his franchise quarterback.

Prescott put on a show against Atlanta, re-inserting himself in the MVP debate (+750 chances to win, according to Odds Shark). Jerry Jones, on the other hand, was less than pleased to watch his star player behave rashly in the last minutes of the game.

Jerry Jones is concerned about Dak Prescott’s dangerous behavior.

“I just wanted to restore my identity,” Dak Prescott said after his touchdown run against the Falcons. People seem to have forgotten that I’m a large mother——do you get what I’m saying?!?”

During the final seconds of the third quarter, with the Cowboys leading 36-3, Prescott took it upon himself to score another touchdown. On fourth-and-2, the great quarterback slid to his left, gained a first down, and then slammed his shoulder into a Falcons defender near the goal line.

Prescott pushed his way into the endzone, giving the Cowboys a six-point advantage. However, there was a major danger involved. Jerry Jones, the team’s owner, was forthright after the game. Plays like those make him nervous.

“I’m concerned,” Jones remarked on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday. “We’ve come to learn that at the end of the year, it’s all about standing.” “The toughest thing about amassing money is being there to spend it,” Warren Buffett once stated.

Since last season, Prescott has faced with a number of ailments. With a fractured ankle, shoulder pain, and a calf ailment, he missed most of 2020, training camp, and a start against the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. It’s reasonable for Jones to be frustrated by Prescott’s urge to drive dangerously.

Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones went even farther, telling Prescott not to make a move like that again.

“Let’s not do it,” Stephen Jones said emphatically. “But obviously, that’s Dak,” says the narrator. We have to protect Dak from Dak at the end of the day, because he’s the ultimate competitor.”

Jerry Jones’ worry is well-founded.

“I worry about it,” Jerry Jones said on Twitter in response to Dak Prescott’s touchdown. We’ve come to learn that towards the end of the year, it’s all about standing. “The toughest thing about amassing money is being there to spend it,” Warren Buffett once stated.

This past summer, Jones paid Prescott $160 million. Prescott is married to the Cowboys’ whole organization. Without him, their offense would implode, and their prospects of winning the Super Bowl would be nil.

As a result, it’s understandable that Jones is concerned about his franchise quarterback encouraging contact with rival defenders amid odd blowout victories. In such instance, the risk-to-reward ratio is just too high.

As Stephen Jones points out, Prescott’s strong competition and willingness to lead by example are what distinguish him. It’s about striking a balance between allowing Prescott to be Prescott while still keeping him upright.

The Cowboys, led by Dak Prescott, can take advantage of a weak NFC West.

This season, the NFC has been a total disaster. Whenever a team begins to emerge as a Super Bowl favorite, they usually suffer a heartbreaking, momentum-stifling defeat.

The Los Angeles Rams just suffered a defeat against the San Francisco 49ers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were just defeated by the Washington Redskins. When Aaron Rodgers is at the helm, the Green Bay Packers seem to be unstoppable. His off-the-field theatrics, on the other hand, might create problems.

Given all of this, 2021 is the ideal year for Prescott and the Cowboys to capitalize. Dallas can easily make a deep postseason run in a few months if Prescott remains healthy and upright.
