Those who are not vaccinated are at risk for contracting diseases that could be fatal. Vaccinations have been shown to reduce the number of people infected with these diseases, but it’s harder to depend on someone if they’re not vaccinated.

The which colts players are not vaccinated is a question about the NFL team, the Indianapolis Colts.

The Indianapolis Colts have only played two games thus far in the 2021 NFL season, and Carson Wentz has already had a roller coaster ride. Wentz returned to the field for Week 1 after missing a major part of training camp due to a foot ailment, only to sprain both of his ankles in the team’s second game of the season.

Wentz’s foot problem seemed to be a strange ailment he had in high school. However, his ankles, as well as some of his previous health problems with the Philadelphia Eagles, are due in part to his all-or-nothing playing style. So, after Wentz jeopardized his availability on the field by not safeguarding his body — as well as off the field by maybe not getting vaccinated – Colts owner Jim Irsay recently chastised his quarterback in front of the media.

In the Colts’ defeat to the Rams, quarterback Carson Wentz injured both ankles.

Carson Wentz has performed well for the Colts in their first two games after overcoming a foot ailment during training camp.

In defeats to the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams, Wentz has passed for 498 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. In addition, he has completed 65.2 percent of his passes.

However, with just over two minutes remaining in the game versus LA, Indianapolis had a chance to win. The team was down 27-24 and possessed the ball, but Wentz was unable to return due to ankle problems. As a result, backup quarterback Jacob Eason took his position and threw an interception with approximately 2:15 remaining in the game, contributing to the Colts’ ultimate defeat.

Following the game, it was revealed that Wentz had injured both ankles, and his availability for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans was uncertain. On the other hand, ESPN’s Chris Mortenson stated on Saturday that he is likely to start.

Wentz has shown a lot of toughness so far in Indianapolis, but it won’t stop the team’s owner from criticizing him.

Jim Irsay, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, was not pleased with his quarterback’s performance.

On Sept. 25, Irsay talked to the media while attending a private function, and he was candid about Wentz’s availability.

According to a video from FOX 59’s Chris Hagan, Irsay stated, “I know he wants to play (against the Titans); I know how hard he’s worked, I know he’s revered in the locker room and all those kinds of things, but he has to remain healthy.” “No one is hiding behind the old way of doing things; it was always there. There have been challenges since we arrived here and have been going through the months we have.”

It’s unclear what Irsay was referring to in his final statement, but it’s probable that he was alluding to Wentz’s troubles with the Philadelphia Eagles and his subsequent injuries with the Indianapolis Colts.

According to Zak Keefer of The Athletic, Irsay said, “We have to defend him better, and he needs to make sure on his runs and escapes [he] protects himself more.”

But the proprietor didn’t stop there. He also mentioned the quarterback’s possible lack of COVID-19 immunization.

Wentz hasn’t stated whether he’s vaccinated or not, but according to The Athletic, he said in September, “I’m not going to go in-depth on why, but it’s a personal choice for me and my family.”

According to Hagan, “it also makes it harder if you aren’t vaccinated.” “Because it’s more difficult to rely on someone who hasn’t been vaccinated. So, I mean, they have the right to do whatever they want, and we respect that, but we’re hopeful he can return and play well.”

When it came to vaccines, Irsay didn’t mention Wentz by name, but he appeared to be referring to his quarterback.

Given all of the controversy surrounding Wentz’s departure from Philadelphia, the scenario isn’t ideal for him. Whether or not you agree with Irsay’s remarks, one thing is certain: the Colts need their quarterback to be healthy.

If Carson Wentz stays healthy, the Colts have a chance to reach the playoffs.

The truth of the matter is that Carson Wentz should be the Colts’ starting quarterback. He can’t do it if he’s injured or on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Colts have a chance to make the playoffs if Wentz stays healthy. With players like Quenton Nelson and Jonathan Taylor on offense and All-Pros Darius Leonard and DeForest Buckner on defense, they have one of the finest rosters in football.

If Wentz is unable to play, Indy will have to turn to either Jacob Eason, a second-year player who has just five career throw attempts, or Brett Hundley, who hasn’t seen significant playing time since starting for an ailing Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers in 2017.

Those are clearly far worse alternatives.

Overall, Wentz has performed well so far this season, demonstrating that he has the ability to turn his career around in Indianapolis. But in order to do so, he has to remain on the field, and if he doesn’t start protecting his body — in more ways than one — he won’t be able to do so.
