Anyone who questioned Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s ability to recover from a devastating ankle injury should have checked with Tyler Biadasz is a writer from the United States. first, in retrospect.
During the 2021 season, Biadasz, a former All-American at Wisconsin, saw Prescott’s miraculous recovery firsthand. The 24-year-old center was still in awe of all his quarterback achieved last season when he talked with Sportscasting just days after Super Bowl 56.

Prescott’s long-term career in Dallas was called into doubt after he sustained a complex fracture and dislocation of his right ankle in October 2020. Was the injury going to cost the Mississippi State product, who was on the franchise tag at the time, the long-term deal he was looking for?
That was, of course, if Prescott healed to the point where he could play again — and in a manner that resembled his Pro Bowl self.
Outsiders may have asked such questions, but Biasadz — a fourth-round selection in 2020 who appeared in 12 games and started four as a rookie — claimed a different dialogue took place among people who are genuinely involved with the Cowboys.
“There was no question in Dak’s mind that he was returning, and you could see it in his eyes and his behavior.” He came up every day and was a leader in the weight room and training room, which really motivated the boys.”

Prescott was originally given a four-to-six-month recuperation time by doctors. Before officially returning in organized team activities and required minicamp in June 2021, the Pro Bowl quarterback went through a tough recuperation procedure.
“I’ll tell you,” Biadasz remarked, “this dude was truly like a workhorse.”
It was a ‘gift,’ according to Biadasz, to play beside Prescott and observe his leadership.
“Look around these stands, guys,” Dak Prescott said before last Sunday’s game against Washington. The takeover has already begun among the supporters. This is a coup d’état. Anything that crosses these boundaries has to be dealt with.”

When the 2021 season started, Prescott quickly regained his form. In his first four games, the Mississippi State product completed 75.1 percent of his throws for 1,066 yards, 10 touchdowns, and two interceptions, with three of them ending in Cowboys victory.
Prior to a Week 5 matchup with the New York Giants, Prescott added a new duty to his resume. The Cowboys released veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith, who previously held that role, and the 28-year-old quarterback took over the morning pep talk in the huddle. The game was played 364 days after he sustained an ankle injury against the same Giants.
Prescott fired three touchdown passes in the 44-20 triumph. He finished the season with a franchise-record 4,449 passing yards and 37 throwing touchdowns.
When speaking with Sportscasting, Biadasz praised Prescott’s ability to lead a squad.
“Just having a leader like him in the building every day is another bonus in my profession,” Biadasz added.
In 2022, the Cowboys will need Biadasz and Prescott to be at their best.

Las Vegas has high hopes for Biadasz, Prescott, and the rest of the Cowboys’ performance next season. Dallas began as +1600 favorites (bet $100, win $1,700) to win Super Bowl 57, according to OddsShark. Among NFC clubs, only the Los Angeles Rams (+900), San Francisco 49ers (++1400), and Green Bay Packers (++1500) had better odds.
Biadasz, who is on the third year of his four-year rookie deal, is expected to start at center for the Cowboys in 2022. Last season, he played 98 percent of Dallas’ offensive snaps and was instrumental in the team’s first NFC East championship since 2018.
Prescott, on the other hand, will be under a lot of pressure to win just his second career playoff game in seven seasons. His starting center, on the other hand, certainly believes in him and values what the two-time Pro Bowler has done for the Cowboys.
For the time being, Biadasz considers it a “gift” to be able to play with Prescott on America’s Team. The next phase, and a bigger prize, will be if the two walk in a championship parade next February.
